Description
Halotestin (fluoxymesterone) is a male hormone (androgen) used in men as replacement therapy in conditions associated with symptoms of deficiency or absence of endogenous testosterone, and in delayed puberty. Halotestin may also be used in some women for palliation of androgen-responsive recurrent breast cancer. Endogenous androgens are responsible for normal growth and development of the male sex organs and for maintenance of secondary sex characteristics.
